I was on Etsy looking for some great prints and I stumbled upon Patrick Lajoie's Water on birch wood. Patrick's Etsy's shop is filled with these photographs transferred onto a birch panel. His photographs are very vintage-like of classic beach scenery - a very familiar sight for a Californian. Of course, I fell in love with quite a few more prints from his shops. Who's ready for road trips this summer?

Last weekend, I got to go to Santa Monica and the beach. There were so many really colorful and pretty shells, and I didn't have the heart to leave them behind. Looking at a lone, new Mason jar sitting on my dresser, I decide to decorate it a bit to fit the summer mood. The DIY is quite simple and straightforward, but the decorated jar is very versatile. And You're Done!I tossed some decorative clear pebbles into the jar, and stuck in some pens and pencils. I'm thinking of switching the stationary out with some summery blooms when I get the chance. In the meantime, the jar brings some of the warmer weather into my room and desk.
Smile c: ~michelle I've been searching for new prints to decorate my room recently, and I stumbled across quite a few adorable ones. Seeing cheerful decorations first thing in the morning helps me start my day the right way. This macaroon card is too cute to gift - it would look perfect framed in the kitchen. I love Jasmine's inspirational typography prints. This nightstand print is simple and cute. Who doesn't love adorable fruit puns? Smile c:
