Spring is probably my favorite time of the year to change out my wardrobe. With the soft pastel colors, and the cute floral patterns, what's not to love? This slip is perfect for the warm spring weather here in SoCal. I've been loving this crop top with the incredible lace trim. I am dying to own this scallop bangle. The adorable rain pattern is a huge bonus on this peter pan collared shirt. These heels are absolutely gorgeous. A beach day would not be complete without this striped tote. Mint and scallop trim on this pair of shorts? Yes please! The intricate design of this vine ring gives any outfit a feminine and delicate touch. Who doesn't love some ruffles on a cute dress? I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear my favorite dresses all the time!

One of my favorite blogs, Little House Blog, is run by Lindsay and shows her daily life with her toddler son, Oscar, and her husband, Aubrey. Their most recent huge project is the complete renovation of their new home. I am completely in love with their kitchen. Lindsay and Aubrey took the small and rather narrow kitchen area and transformed it into a white and comfortable area that looks catalog-worthy. The white tiling gives a clean finish and matches perfectly with the white Ikea cabinets. I personally really like the gray color of the grout, as it adds a little more emphasis on texture of the walls. The kitchen is a clever and economically appealing combination of Ikea cabinets, high end items, and DIY's. My favorites are the DIY cookbook shelf and pull-out trash holder. If you haven't had the chance, head over to Lindsay and Aubrey's blog! They're constantly posting really amazing home and DIY projects, as well as Lindsay's cute prints from her store!
Smile c: ~michelle (Photos used with permission.) Although blackberries won't be in season for another few months, thankfully, I can find them periodically at my grocery store. They are a breakfast staple for me - a bowl of greek yogurt, granola, and berries is a must. Blackberries have so many health benefits! They are rich in fiber, vitamin A, and manganese. They contain large amounts of vitamin C and K to help maintain healthy bones. Blackberries get their dark purple color from anthocyanins which acts as antioxidants, with possible cancer fighting properties. The best part? They're amazing fresh, and even better in all different sorts of sweets and baked goods. Just looking at this blackberry crumb cake makes m mouth water. These blackberry scones are a great way to start a day. Two words - berry muffins. Life doesn't get much better than that! This blackberry sorbet is also gluten free. A blackberry tart is a necessity for picnics. Isn't this peach and blackberry crumble amazing? I definitely need some homemade blackberry jam for light afternoon snacks. This blackberry ice cream has a nice touch of rosewater for a unique taste. Aren't these mini blackberry cheesecakes adorable? These blackberry crumb bars are perfect on-the-go snacks.
