Happy October! (& happy birthday to my baby brother!)
I have a love/hate relationship with October. I absolutely adore the fall colors, sweater weather (if we get any in SoCal), and pumpkin spice lattes!. On the other hand, Halloween stands in the way of me and my Christmas music (my family and friends have forbidden me to play any before Nov 1). As much as that pains me, I also use October as an excuse to gorge in pumpkin desserts.
