Like I promised, it's cooking time! This summer, I'm trying out a bunch of quick and easy recipes to use next year at uni. This first recipe is one I learned from my dad years ago - deviled eggs. Preparation takes less than 15 minutes, pop it in the fridge for a bit, and it's ready to serve as a snack or side.
Serves: 3-4
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- paprika
- cajun seasoning
- a few sprigs of cilantro
Let's Get Started!
| 1. Boil and peel the eggs. Place the eggs in the fridge for 30 minutes. Refrigeration can be done at the very end, but I find that cool eggs are easier to cut. 3. Add mayonnaise and a pinch of paprika, and mix. | 2. Half each egg and remove the yolks into a separate bowl. 4. Scoop the mixed yolks into the egg whites. Garnish with a pinch of cajun seasoning and a bit of cilantro. |
And You're Done!
