Like I promised, it's cooking time! This summer, I'm trying out a bunch of quick and easy recipes to use next year at uni. This first recipe is one I learned from my dad years ago - deviled eggs. Preparation takes less than 15 minutes, pop it in the fridge for a bit, and it's ready to serve as a snack or side.
Serves: 3-4
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- paprika
- cajun seasoning
- a few sprigs of cilantro
Let's Get Started!
1. Boil and peel the eggs. Place the eggs in the fridge for 30 minutes. Refrigeration can be done at the very end, but I find that cool eggs are easier to cut. 3. Add mayonnaise and a pinch of paprika, and mix. | 2. Half each egg and remove the yolks into a separate bowl. 4. Scoop the mixed yolks into the egg whites. Garnish with a pinch of cajun seasoning and a bit of cilantro. |
And You're Done!
