I love candles - they smell amazing and set the perfect mood for a cozy night in. Sadly, university housing prohibits candles, so my room is rather bare without my favorite piece of home decor.
My solution? Battery-powered flameless candles! I got mine off Amazon for less than $10! They're super cheap, and the batteries are replaceable. They are a bit plain on their own, but inside a decorated Mason jar, they look so cute!

Materials
Let's get started!
1. Cut desired shape out of tape and place on inside of jar. I used packaging tape, but masking tape works best. 3. Pour a generous amount of glitter inside. Cap the jar and shake the glitter around (preferably while dancing around your room!). | 2. Sponge inside of jar with Mod Podge. Be careful around the edges of the shape to avoid getting it under the tape. 4. Let dry overnight, then carefully peel off the tape. Use a small knife if necessary to ensure a clean border. Fill with filler pebbles and a flameless candle (I would not use real candles out of safety concerns). |
And you're done!
Now just put on some relaxing tunes, pour yourself a cup of tea, and enjoy a cozy evening in!
