Spring is probably my favorite time of the year to change out my wardrobe. With the soft pastel colors, and the cute floral patterns, what's not to love? This slip is perfect for the warm spring weather here in SoCal. I've been loving this crop top with the incredible lace trim. I am dying to own this scallop bangle. The adorable rain pattern is a huge bonus on this peter pan collared shirt. These heels are absolutely gorgeous. A beach day would not be complete without this striped tote. Mint and scallop trim on this pair of shorts? Yes please! The intricate design of this vine ring gives any outfit a feminine and delicate touch. Who doesn't love some ruffles on a cute dress? I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear my favorite dresses all the time!

I recently discovered a new vintage-inspired shop called Ruche. Their clothing is absolutely gorgeous and their home decor is adorable. (I'm kind of very in love with the Our Fair Lady lookbook!) These sunglasses in gold are just so delicate and classy. What's spring without a pinch of mint? These mint sandals have an adorable clear panel to perfect the fun look. The colorblocking of this dress adds a fun twist to the dainty shape. I love the variety of light spring colors incorporated into this embroidered top. Not only is the design of this cherry dress so cute, but the back cutout and bow embellishments are to die for. While perfect for summer, this floral peplum top would look amazing in the fall with some boots and a warm cardigan. This daisy statement necklace is a necessity for spring and summer. The eyelet bodice and high-low hem of this cream chiffon dress is a perfect combination for a delicate and girly look. The feminine shape and gorgeous color of this draped jacket puts it at the top of my wishlist. Spring always the time for floral skirts. Now that winter's slowly retreating, I can't wait to fill my closet with lovely pastel and floral pieces!
Smile c: ~michelle Happy Saturday! As a person with less-than-perfect vision, I personally prefer contacts, because it gives me the freedom to wear whatever pretty sunglasses I want. But there are always those days where I don't have time to put in contacts, or my eyes are just too stressed out to wear contacts comfortably - so I always have a pair of prescription glasses on hand to make sure I can actually see where I'm walking. However functional they may be, glasses often become a fashion burden - the wrong size, shape, or design can make you look super old or nerdy. Just like our bodies, everyone's face is a different shape - and for every shape, there are glasses frames that compliment the face. Circle Face: If you have full cheeks, and a soft chin and forehead, then you have a circle face. The best way to complement your face shape is to find a frame that is rectangular and angular, to give a sharper contrast to your soft features. Square Face: If you have a strong jaw and broad forehead, then you have a square face. The best way to complement your face shape is to find a frame that is soft and round, to give a softer and gentler feel. Also, try to find a frame that sits high on the nose, to elongate your face. Diamond Face: If you have a narrow forehead and jaw, then you have a diamond face. The best way to complement your face shape is to find a frame that sweeps up and gives a delicate touch to your sharper features. Oval shapes, such as the cat eye, provides a sophisticated and fashionable feel. Oval Face: If you have a longer face with soft edges, then you have a oval face. The best way to complement your face shape is to find a frame that is rounder and deeper. An oversized frame that is just slightly wider than your face will prevent further elongating your face. Rectangle Face: If you have a longer face with a strong jaw and forehead, then you have a rectangle face. The best way to complement your face shape is to find a frame that is curvy and round. Like with the oval face, a frame wider than your face will prevent further elongation. Heart Face: If you have a wide forehead and cheeks, and a narrow jaw, then you have a heart face. The best way to complement your face shape is to find a frame that is delicate - preferably something rimless or with thin, light frames. Everything your wear, necessity or otherwise, should be something you enjoy. These are my tips, but if you rock a different shaped pair of glasses, go for it! Find a comfortable pair of glasses that make you happy to wear them, and they will never be a fashion burden.
